Ajawaan was the kennel of Mrs Ileene King. She acquired her foundationt Afghan hound, a bitch, Silvercaul Sa-De-Miranda (Turkuman Dammar Pine Tree x Patrols Creme Chenille) bred by Mr W J Kent, in 1944.. A small kennel, Mrs King only bred three litters in the period 1947-1947, but her small kennel made achieved sucess for her and for several others of this era.
